Introduction of Rod mill

Rod mill is applied to metal and nonmetal mine, water conservancy and glass building materials grinding various ore, rock and artificial sand which needs product granularity evenly. The energy-efficient rod mill that our company produces is all that rolling bearing support instead of bearing bush slip bearing support. It will save 10-20% energy compared with slip bearing support and improve production capacity by 10-20%.

Application of Rod Mill

At present, rod mill is the most effective crushing machine and its performance has achieved the international standard. It is widely applied in the gravel industry. And it is mainly used for processing or crushing the feldspar, quartz, minerals and other raw materials, and it is also suitable for finely or secondarily crushing the various tough or brittle materials, such as grinding material, refractory material, cement, steel shot, pulverized slag, copper ore, iron ore, gold ore, concrete aggregate, bituminized aggregate. Now it is a most advanced high-efficient low consumption sand-maker in the world.

MB Rod Mill Structure:

The machine is composed by feeding part, discharging part, rotation part and driving part (reducer, small driving gear, electric motor and electric control). The quill shaft adopts cast steel part and the liner is detachable.
The rotation big gearwheel is made by cast hobbling processing and the drum is equipped with wear-resistant liner, which has good wear-resistance. The machine is with stable and reliable working condition.
Moreover, according to different materials and discharging methods, there are dry ball mills and wet ball mills for choice.

Working Principle:

The ball mill is horizontal cylindrical rotation device, driven by brim gearwheel. There are two chambers and grid. Material goes into the first chamber through the feeding inlet. Inside the first chamber, there are stage liners and ripple liners as well as steel balls.
The shell rotates so as to generate electricity, and this force brings ball to a certain height and then balls drop down by gravity, the impact is the grinding force to the material.?
After the primary grinding, materials go into the second chamber through segregate screen. In the second chamber, there are flat liners and steel ball, after the secondary grinding, material is discharged from the discharging. Then the whole grinding process end.
